Week 3 - End Of Week Interactive Exercise

For this interactive exercise, you will look at the World Air Quality(Index) Project which provides real time data on air pollution for more than 60 countries. The ability to monitor and track air pollution is critical for understanding how much is produced and where it comes from, as well as how to reduce and mitigate its negative effects.

Go to the World Air Quality (Index) Project

1. Find the city you live in or the one closest to you using the search bar above the interactive map. If this city is unavailable, choose another city or area of interest.
2. Click on the area to open a more detailed air pollution profile for your selected location.
3. What is the air pollution level? How does it rate? Are there any specific pollutants which are particularly high? Why do you think this might be?
4. Leave a comment below discussing your findings, stating the air pollution level, time and location.
